I love the food here but the price was high for some enchiladas with no meat . The sangria was delicious but for one person to eat in over $32 without tip , the enchiladas were just cheese only

Winning vegetarian/flexitarian* Seamless order today: (1) Enchiladas Verdes con Espinaca, (2) Mole Poblano side order (3) 4 corn tortilla side order. -I love green enchiladas and I love mole even more, but as per most restaurants, there were no veg options with mole. -As expected, the green enchiladas were really tasty, until I got to the large mass of spinach inside. But hey - at least it's not a giant slab of cheese like veg enchiladas at other restaurants (gross). Spinach is good for me - I still want to eat it. -So --- I loaded up each of the corn tortillas with with a scoop of spinach, some side rice, and then dipped my "taco" very generously into the mole poblano with every bite. It was amazing. Beans side was delicious too. And after de-bulking the green enchilada of a lot of the spinach, it became even tastier. -Huge win IMO - I get to eat greens and beans which are great for the gut. I get to eat mole, which is good for the soul, and I get to do so in that messy-drippy birria taco-style fashion that I never get to be apart of as someone with veg/pescatarian preferences. -Thank you again De Mole for not putting a giant slab of greasy cheese in your veg enchilada. Whenever I eat something like that, I feel like crap. Please don't change! You're my new go-to for Mexican food. *While it didn't come with meat, the mole poblano may include meat stock - I'm not sure.

I love De Mole! Such a comforting atmosphere, from the moment you walk in. Warm, with heaters everywhere, sweet lighting, and kind, quick service. Good food, and it feels like entering someone's home.

2nd time is a charm. I was here with an FB group on Friday. We had a wonderful meal with great service and company. The Case Asadaw was delicious, AND what a great night!

I consider De Mole to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Not to be missed is their house special Tinga quesadilla; to be honest, I always order it. I really enjoy their guacamole and I also love their other quesadillas. The tinga main plate is delicious as well, but I will keep coming back always for the tinga quesadillas.

One of the best Mexican food in the NYC area! We were returning from JFK and were super hungry. So glad we landed up here. The restaurant has a cute patio outdoor seating, it was empty and we felt they were almost closed. The server was nice enough to seat us. They have a great menu for meat eaters as well as vegetarians! Omg the tamales are to die for! So authentic. Definitely will go back to try more of the tamales. We ordered veggie enchiladas and veggie Fajitas! Enchiladas were delicious in green sauce, but the Fajita's were mind blowing, the veggies had such great flavors! Cant find anything similar to that in the city. Cant wait to go back and enjoy the food, service and cute vibe!
